It’s a lovely Sunday morning! It rained here the last night. Looking at the micro garden (that my wife nurtures in our balcony) is a bliss, refreshing! Observing the beautiful hues, a thought crosses my mind.
The delicate petals are carrying the weight of the tiny rain droplets rather happily. The droplets too embrace the petals even being aware about the ephemeral life either of them have.
What I liked more is that the petals are not proud of their vibrant hues. The droplets aren’t boastful about providing the nourishment. The droplets have neither a fragrance nor a color. They act as wonderful miniature magnifying lenses – enhancing the elegance of the bloom. Together they bring a magical joy!
Vulnerability is the essence of romance. It’s the art of being uncalculated, the willingness to look foolish, the courage to say, ‘This is me, and I’m interested in you enough to show you my flaws with the hope that you may embrace me for all that I am but, more important, all that I am not.’ – Ashton Kutcher.
